Liberty Cafe

How could I not say the convenience of the nice little eatery. They are open during the hours 3-5 am and delivery almost anywhere as long as the food and money can be safely collected. Slightly pricey but well worth it due to the convenience of there service. I have been a customer for a very long time and they always deliver and never let me down whenever I needed a steak, shrimp, or calamari at 3:30 AM. Love it!!!

My daughter and I decided to try this place. Wanted a meat, and 3. The place is small but it's clean. Waitress was new, friendly, went and got manager to answer my questions she didn't know, kept our tea filled, and was talkative. The bathroom was clean for the age of it, no paper on the floor and the sink and toilet were clean. As far as the food is concerned,it's a HUGE menu within ALOT of stuff. It was all cooked to order, so we had a little bit of a wait, but it was all HOT when it came to the table. Hamburger steak was a real pattied hamburger seasoned. Brown gravy was right, consistency, and grilled onions were not too soft. The fries are crinkle cut, but they are seasoned. The roll was a little too over cooked but, they have land o lakes butter, which is a game changer for me. The fried chicken was fresh and appeared to be seasoned with salt and pepper. The skin was crisp, and the breast was connected to the wing. The potato salad is HOMEMADE. DOES NOT HAVE EGG. Which I thought was interesting, but it tasted pretty good for a non-traditional potato salad. The steamed veggies were the only downside. They were steamed but had NO seasoning at all. No butter, no nothing. And they were a little overcooked. So they were rubbery. But, othet than that 1 little thing the meal was good! The meal came with tea. It was 29.56, I think, for both of us to eat. We will be back to try more.

The staff there last night was very rude. Nothing looked clean at all. It took almost 2 hours to get our food. When we notified the staff that they did not give us things we ordered we were told we were wrong. There were people ahead of us that were being harassed and said it wasn’t the staffs problem that something was wrong with their order. All of the employees had an attitude. We for sure will never return there. Don’t waste your time on this place. I will definitely never bring my kids here. The environment didn’t feel safe in the slightest bit. There are much better options in Greenville that are safer and more kid friendly.

I was really unhappy about the service today. I’ve been coming to Liberty since it first opened, and often refer people to the cafe as well. Whoever the barista is with long brown hair left me in complete frustration today. I took a bite out of my monte cristo sandwich, and the ham tasted very off. Like it had spoiled. And when I smelled it, my nose said “Don’t eat that!” I’ve been in service industry for over twenty years and never have I been treated with such disrespect and annoyance. She told me “we’ve been serving it all morning and it’s fine. And it’s probably just the Gruyère.” Well I’ve eaten Gruyère many times in life , and I know it wasn’t that. The ham was simply not good. Whatever the reason, if a guest isn’t happy with their food, it takes no effort to simply find something to satisfy the guest regardless of the complaint. She was rude, and I am considering whether or not I will come back at this point if I see her working. I want to feel safe to know that after years of supporting a business, the one time I have an actual complaint, it would be heard and honored. That is all.

Called for delivery. Not friendly. Delivery guy look and spoke like he was drunk. Pizza was smashed and cold. Only one of two salads made it to us. The cucumber salad looked and tasted like it was in water. And we ordered a large pizza, gyro platter, and two salads and they only sent ONE to-go fork. Pitiful excuse for a restaurant and simply horrible delivery service. Painful.
